Saint Timothy Lutheran Church

We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), perched on the Western edge of Texas where three states and two countries come together. We began in a location now adjoining Interstate 10 in 1953, became a congregation in 1955, and moved to our present location in 1978.

We are one of five ELCA communities in El Paso and the one farthest to the East. A map on the second page will direct you.

Our Sunday service at 9 AM features a mix of traditional and modern sacred music, from Bach to Michael W. Smith. We use a rear-projection screen to view some song lyrics and our pastor illustrates sermons with graphics and film clips. We are a mixture of cultures and ages. Located on a major east-west boulevard, we are conveniently located no more than 15 minutes from any location on the East side of El Paso. A nursery with professional staff is open during all services. Come for a visit!

Welcome to Saint Timothy El Paso

The Sacraments of Holy Baptism and Communion are central to our worshiping community. We believe in the gift of the Spirit and the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
